This is far-from-complete instruction for setting up Wireless@SG. This instruction only shows you how to setup with Singtel postpaid mobile and icellnetwork(surfing with ad banner).

If you are singtel postpaid customer:

STEP #1:
Key *9434 (*WiFi) on your handset and call.

SMS Receive:
Reply directly to this SMS with 1 or 2:

1. For Free SingTel Wireless@SG account activation or
2. For resetting your Wireless@SG & IDEAS password

STEP #2:
Reply <1>.

SMS Receive:
Reply with your NRIC to complete the process.

STEP #3:
Reply <Your NRIC>.

SMS Receive:
Thank you for registering with SingTel Wireless@SG. Your User ID is your mobile number@stm and your password is XYZ.

Another free setup if you are using WirelessSG provided by icellnetwork

directly setup a new account in the login page

you need to provide your mobile number to receive the pin.

your account would be [username]@icellnetwork.com

NOTE:  Singtel free wireless@SG is provided free until 1 Dec 2009 (started from 1Dec 2006). Further fee after that will be noticed.

NOTE2: icellnetwork account is free. But an annoying ad banner will be displayed at the bottom of the pages you visit. and will disconnect every about 15min!!

NOTE3: The free account by singtel is about 512Kbps both upload and download.
